There's an old saying. If you don't want someone to join a crowd, you ask them, "If everyone were jumping off of a cliff, would you?" Well, I have. So my answer would be "Yes". True story.

700th Entry! The Best of the Past 100!

this entry brought to you by art brut, "formed a band"

700th entry time. This last hundred was weird because I missed a lot of entries. In fact, the 600th entry was all the way back in April; an average hundred goes by after just three and a half months, and it's been like five. In fact, I didn't even eremember writing the first entry collected here. There was also a lack of quality here compared to the first 500, but that had to do with the fact that I was playing too much catch-up all the time. Anyway, as always, you can see the best of the previous entries here (when I also complained about a lack of quality entries). Let's hope that next 100 I'll be able to come up with gold.

RANDOM/FUNNY:

Did you ever wonder why God hasn't ended the world yet? He says he might not even get around to it, so don't hold your breath.

Star 69 never worked, and I'm sure kids nowadays won't even understand that statement because nobody uses it anymore.

The record industry is going to start going down the list of people in the phone book to find people to sue. It might sound senseless, but you can't tell me those people didn't download music illegally.

I'm not sure how anyone would go about designing the most important invention in the history of mankind, but then again, it's not my job to do so. Somebody get to work, chop-chop!

Sometimes you say stupid things when you have sex. It just happens.

Wait, a comedian telling a joke about how odd it is that people buy water in bottles? Genius! He should be on Last Comic Standing.

Not that i want to give anyone ideas, but Myspace spammers really aren't going about wreaking havoc very efficiently.

Did you ever wonder how much the addition of a new marshmallow shape in cereal would effect the cereal business? Earth-shattering stock jumps, that's what.

The Matrix Trilogy has been re-released on HD-DVD and Blu-ray. And you'll no longer feel like you wasted your money and time if you see the movie in high-def!

Tragically, 500 festival-goers died during a popular rock festival. And it was fucking awesome.

SERIOUS/TOPICAL It always cracks me up when people hate cops but demand respect for the military, when in reality they are the exact same thing.

Have you ever just ignored a comment someone said to you, and have it completely backfire? Scary, isn't it?

There's really no way to know what music your kids are listening to. Not in the day of MP3s and Ipods and the like.

Reality TV is really scary, especially if you consider the fact that they'd probably make you look like an asshole too, if you wanted to be on it.

I feel awful for saying this, but I met a person who I just do not think deserves to live on the planet like the rest of us.

I'm really sick of getting spam mail trying to guilt me into thinking about the troops. Not that I think the people sending it are assholes, but who are the people sending it originally?

Did you ever play Bloody Mary when you were a kid? That's an interesting little tidbit of American youth, isn't it?

Why is it that every single Internet victim always met their predator on-line in a chat-room? Who in the hell uses chat rooms nowadays?

Hey, if lunatic religious nutbags want prayer in school or to teach Intelligent Design in school, why not let them? With a few concessions of course. When I think of all the horrible customers I've had during my career working around customers, one of them in particular seems to stand out.

REVIEWS:

Once again I had no music reviews these last 100 entries, but I have movie reviews for Meet the Robinsons, which was good, Gindhouse, which was excellent, Spider-Man 3, which wasn't as bad as everyone said, and The Simpsons Movie which everyone liked but I seemed to like more.
