When my daughter was in the first grade, it wasn't long before she started saying "Easy-Peasy-Jack-and-Beansy!"

I, of course, learned it "Easy-peasy-Japanesey", and I realized, yeah, you know what? That is needlessly racist. It was probably a much, much better way of saying it, yet whenever she said it it sounded foreign to my ears. It's horrible when the non racist version of a folksy saying sounds weird. Makes you feel very, very old.
