In Tokyo there is a cat cafe. You come in, pay a door fee, drink tea, and enjoy a whole bunch of cats that live in the cafe. You can feed them, you can pet them, you can just be around them. The reason for this is because in Japan, with apartments so compact, people usually aren't allowed to have pets.

I'm a cat lover, and I think if I lived in Japan, I would go there once. And, having paid for it, I would realize that holy shit, cats are fucking boring.
