Hypothetical Question About Parents

this entry brought to you by radiohead, "down is the new up"

Let's say that you've adopted a baby. You know for a fact that the baby's parents are both spending the rest of their lives in jail for the worst torture and murder of multiple people that's ever happened in your state. You know the parents do in fact want to see their child, however, they're not repentant of their crimes. With that said, the child, through an astonishing coincidence, looks enough like you that nobody knows that it's not your child, and there's no reason for the child to ever put two and two together. Would you ever tell the child who his real parents are, and if you would, when would you tell him? If you told him, would you only partially tell the truth, perhaps making up a lie that, while they were murderers, they were killed by the police in a stand-off, so there's no way to see them; perhaps tell them that they're murderers, but leave out the details that they were this heinous case?
